About Us
Back in 2016 I started working with my old partner and for a number of years, we worked together looking for the best way to identify and service the needs of taxpayers.
As we tried a number of different business models, it became more and more clear that our industry as a whole was not doing a great job of helping people. We encountered everything from malpractice to blatantly incorrect filings signed by active and licensed CPAs. So many people had wrongly made the assumption that their CPA “had everything covered” and would find out far too late that they did not.
In 2019 my business partner at the time and I went our separate ways, and I began working on Rottweiler Tax – named for one of my favorite breeds of dog and one that symbolized what we wanted to be for clients. Friendly and sweet yet strong and loyal at the same time.
Since then the learning has never stopped. Taxpayers are accustomed to a certain level of mediocrity and have accepted it as part of life. If I told you that you can, and should, demand more from a tax professional, would you believe me?
By identifying your biggest and most common problems, we were able to tailor a service model around those problems. Gone are the days of waiting weeks or months to never hear back from your accountant. You don’t have to use an extension every year and you definitely don’t have to be behind your taxes constantly.
It’s possible for you to get ahead of them and to truly have them under control….without blindly trusting someone who bears little responsibility for what happens to handle it and hope for the best.
